Our story
From physical counts to inventory intelligence.
The Lungisa operating journey began in 2019, doing the work at the point where inventory control is won or lost: the count, the storeroom, the bar, the kitchen and the reporting period.
Lungisa Inventory Management (Pty) Ltd was formally incorporated in 2023. As the business grew, so did the problem we wanted to solve. Clients did not only need a number at the end of a stocktake; they needed a clearer explanation of what happened between opening stock and closing stock, what it cost them, where controls were failing and what management should investigate next.
That led to the development of Lungisa Cloud and a more structured product family: BevAudit for beverage inventory, FoodAudit for food and recipe-linked inventory, and RetailAudit for high-volume retail and stockroom environments.
Today, Lungisa operates as an inventory management and intelligence partner: combining independent verification, operational data and purpose-built systems so businesses can move from counting stock to controlling it.
